A friend smsed me urgently last night to inform me that he had found a stray kitten last night in a drain near his house. He reckons its about a month old and most likely abandoned by its mother, or got lost from the litter. As you can see from the photos below, it has got swollen eyes most likely an infection as a result of living in such unhygienic an environment. (Maybe that could also be why its mother abandoned it?) My friend has been applying eye drops for the poor kitty and he's hoping to find a home for this wee fellow.
We're pretty sure that he'll recover in no time at all and being so young, he will require some patient, tender care.
