Rainy days make for sleepy days, don't they?

Here are more photos of Tiffy that I want to share with you.
So far, you have seen two sides to little Tiffy -- a shy and a super playful side. Now, you'll see a more... er... relaxed, subdued Tiffy.

It all begins with the pitter-patter of the falling rain

Drip-drop, drip-drop, drip-drop... Tiffy stares hypnotised

The head drops lower

The eyes get smaller...

... And smaller

Finally they shut

The head droops

She rests her head on her paw

It's that much more comfy, you see

Sometimes she even tucks her head under to block out the light

But stetching out is what she loves best

It gives her the best nap...

The deepest sleep...

The bestest dreams...

The comfiest slumber!

Tiffy is quite the purring machine when she's asleep

She sure could compete with any roaring Harley Davidson

I love resting my head right next to hers

Her warmth and purring make me very very sleepy too

And she's one hard kitty to awaken

Prince Charming would have quite a task trying to kiss this one awake

Still... I say... smoochies all over this cutie face!

Tiffy looks so completely content.
Little kittens play hard,
and sleep hard.
It's rainy an gray here, too. Is the whole world rainy today? Maybe it's global catnap day.

It's another rainy afternoon today. And my 4 princesses and 1 prince are snoozing away again. How I envy them.

Tiffy is simply precious. I love how her paws are so huge in comparison to the rest of her body. I bet she grows up to be a very strong, lithe cat!

Hi! My friend found 2 lost kittens yesterday, eyes opened already. Sadly his mum doesnt allow for him to keep it. Do you knw how anyone who can help in fostering the kittens or who my friend can approach for more assistance? Thank you very much for any advice you can provide. :))

I just got another message from my friend. He says he' deciding whether to go put them back where he found them later this evening, and hopefully he can find their mother during that time.

She's a beauty. And I'm glad she's got a happy ending with Gucci. :)

Hi Elaine,

Oh dear... I hope the mother cat will still accept the babies. There is a chance she might not if she can smell human scent on them. That is why such young kittens should not be removed by anyone unless you are sure that the kittens' mother has abandoned them and will not be coming back for her babies anymore.

Please read Dawn's blog entry on this. It contains a lot of information you'll find useful.

Should your friend need further advice, please send an e-mail to CWS at

Thank you for the reply! Yes, I did tell him not to pick up the kittens especially so if their mum could be coming back anytime. I've called him again to explain what you shared and he understands. :) But he said they were drenched in the rain, were cold and seemed hungry. So he brought them up to get them wiped dry and fed them some food.

He has placed them in a box and returned them to their original place when the rain had stopped. I will pray for their mother to take the kittens back into her fold and care for them again. Thanks. :)
