Thursday Thirteen -- Animals rule the nebulas!

Fur today's Thursday Thirteen, I would like to share wif all of you thirteen animal-shaped nebulas.

In case you are wondering what a nebula is, you can fink of it as a nursery fur baby stars. These stellar nurseries are furry beeoooteeful to look at. And they come in all sorts of colours and shapes.

(Some of the pikshurs are a little hard to figure out so you might haf to squint a little, frown a little, maybe efen pull your eyes into funny shapes.)

Let's start off wif my purrsonal favourite...

1) The Cat's Eye Nebula

2) The Owl Nebula

3) The Crab Nebula

4) The Horsehead Nebula

5) The Snake Nebula

6) The Ant Nebula

7) The Black Widow Nebula

8) The Butterfly Nebula

9) The Eagle Nebula

10) The Lion's Head Nebula

11) The Tarantula Nebula

12) The Seagull Nebula

13) The Stingray Nebula

And here are two more nebulas that I want to show you. The furst is the scariest, the spookiest, the absolute creepiest! It is...

The Witch's Head Nebula

Scary, huh?!

But I haf saved the purrtiest nebula fur the last. It is also the most romantic. So I would like to dedicate it to my purrty Bonnie. I present to you now...

The Rose Nebula

Do visit the NASA website if you are interested to learn more about nebulas. There are so many others! There is one that looks remarkably like a blue fairy and another that is heart-shaped. There is even a Rotten Egg Nebula. Eeeeyucks!

Bombay! What a lovely gift! How many cats can say they've had a nebula dedicated to them? It's lovely! Purr, purr, purr!
I wasn't sure I could see the Lion's Head until I was looking at the Eagle and caught the Lion in my purrifural* vision - then it jumped out, like an optical illusion.
Purrs and nose kisses,
Bonnie
