Losing my beauty sleep

Look at me!

I'm so sleepy! I haven't been getting enough sleep.

Why?

All thanks to my stoopid brofur, that's why! He sleeps funny and it is keeping me awake. Let me show you what he does.

Okay, here I am sleeping all comfily and minding my own business.

Then Bangles comes along and see what he does...

He plonks his big head right on my bum!

It makes me feel furry uncomfy and I wake up. See how my tired left eye is half-opened!

And if that isn't bad enough. Bangles will move his head and tuck it right under my thigh. How is a cat expected to get any sleep like that?!

And the position that takes the cake...

I don't efen know what he is trying to do with his paws under my chin! Giving me a chin-tuck?

I'm a growing boy and I need my sleep. It's time I had my own room!

You both look very cute! I can see how it would be hard to sleep well with your brother always sleeping on you like that, especially in those strange positions!

Bless your little heart!! Just smack him upside the head. That's what we do when one of us is trying to sleep and somebody bugs us!!!

Come on over to our party!

Ugh....I feel your pain. Kaze is always sticking her bony head on me while I'm sleeping. I think you should have your own room because you put up with so much.

Bombay, your brother just loves you! You look so cute together. But sometimes, you do just need some of your own space, I understand that.

oh dear, we agree with forty paws, a bop on the head would end this nonsense. Mommy thinks the photo is "darling" Jeez mommy, she needs her nap!

Hi Bombay, thank you for stopping by our site. We are always honored when we have a new visitor.

I can see why you would get upset with Bangles disturbing your nap like that. Looks like you are a very patient cat though. Very rarely Gizmo and I sleep butt to butt, but we do sometimes. I also sometimes sleep with Patches in the chair by the wood stove when it has a fire in it. Cleo, she likes to put her head under my chin for me to groom, but she ususally waits until after nap time.

Very cute photos and funny post. (I know you don't think its funny Bombay!)

My cat Macy is like Bangles although she doesn't have another cat to sleep on. She sleeps on my daughters instead. Today's WW post shows this.

The difference is that my daughter is not trying to sleep at the same time!

Great post!

This happens to me regularly with the other cats. Don't they understand that we need sleep?

Oh Bombay, you do look very very sleepy. It is impossible to sleep when you feel uncomfy!

Bombay, the things we have to put up with when we are not only kitties! *sigh* we hate even worse when we are sleeping with the mom and we're all comfy then she moves...

You are luck you have another kitty to play with. I only have Lynettea and she isn't fluffy. She is warm to sleep next to though, but if she turns over I sometimes have to hop out of bed altogether! I get the bed to use all by myself in the day time, with my own futon on top of a furry rug and cushions arranged for me to lean on.
