Party Mix and Vita Treats: Yay or Nay?

When my friend and her son came to visit me from Singapore last month...

They brought along with them some treats for the kitties.

One was Friskies' Party Mix and the other was Cat Lover's Vita Treats.

Bronzy was not interested in the snacks at all because she had over-eaten at lunch.
But Slash was quite keen to give the treats a taste test.

So I obliged him.
I tore open the packet of Vita Treats first and took out one heart-shaped biscuit.
Slash took his time to sniff suspiciously at the treat.

This is not at all unusual.
He does this with his regular food with each and every mouthful, I kid you not!

After sniffing for a long while, Slash decided that he didn't like this new treat...

And walked away.
(By the way, Slash's behind is wet because he made a messy poop and had to be washed.)

So I tore open the Party Mix and let him have a sniff at that...
And he loved it.

He wasted no time at all in gobbling it up...

And chowing it down.

I then went back to Vita Treats and offered Slash another sniff.
"Give it a chance," I told him.

But all Slash did was to give me a look that said, "Give it up, woman."
So it's back to the Party Mix.
And it is here that I'll take a moment to show you how neurotic Slash is.

Step 1: Sniff

Step 2: Eat

Then it's back to Step 1 again: Sniff

Step 2: Eat

You get the idea.

Slash eats as though he is sure someone is out to poison him.

That's why it takes him 5 times as long to finish his food compared to Bronzy.
Anyway, I digress...

So what's your verdict after the taste test, Slash?

"It's a yummy yay to Party Mix. And a nasty nay to Vita Treats."

Do you kitties agree with Slash?

Does Bronzy have a Fever?

Yes, she sure does.

The naughty girl has Football Fever!

She delights in whacking the ball all over the house.

And even knows how to dribble the ball with all four of her paws.

Along the way, she has succeeded in chomping many holes in the poor ball.

And after each football session,
Bronzy will wait on the couch for me to give her tired paws a soothing massage.

What a football diva!

1 Small Bean and 3 Farm Cats

Hello, Friends!
Sorry we haven't been blogging much.
Mommy had a friend and her 2-year-old son visit us from Singapore
so we were busy showing them a good time.

Bronzy and I were kinda nervous being around the little bean at first.
It was, after all, our very first time meeting such a small human.

I gotta say...
I don't quite understand the little bean yet.
But we did end up sharing the bed quite nicely.

Here I am calculating the odds of the little bean falling off the bed.

On a visit to the Collingwood Children's Farm, Mommy met some very interesting farm cats.
Let me introduce them to you!

This Calico is a most exotic beauty.

Her left profile looks totally different from her right!

Wouldn't you have thought that she was two different cats?

And in my opinion, this handsome grey-and-white is one lucky kitty...

Because he has the largest, most amazing, eco-friendly litterbox in the world!

Just look at all that pooping space he has among that luscious green!

Bronzy and I are totally "green" with envy.

But the most interesting kitty on that farm is this one.

When Mommy first saw her, Mommy noticed right away how strange she looked.

Both ears and a bit of her nose were gone.

Mommy thought that she must have endured some horrific abuse or accident from before.

To find out more about her, Mommy asked a farmerette the reason for her appearance.

It turns out that this lady cat is a skin cancer survivor.
To save her life, the vet had to remove both ears and part of her nose.
But it was all worth it as she is officially cancer-free!

She now enjoys a great deal of attention from visitors to the farm.

During lunch time especially, she works her charm to the max!

And she never fails to get rewarded with delicious snacks.

Chillin' and Playin'

Even though Slash loves a good game with the wand, he prefers not to exert himself.
There'll be no running, jumping or pouncing.
He'll just lie down and swipe.

Observe...

In my next video, I'll show you how wild and mad Bronzy gets when she plays.

Slash and The Gap

Remember how Slash used to stick both his paws under the door?

I caught him doing it again, but this time it was under the table between two boxes.

Mommy: What are you doing, Slash?

Slash: I'm waiting for someone to help me get into the gap.
Mommy: But why do you have to stick your paws into it like that? It's weird.

Slash: It's not weird. I'm pointing you to where I want to go, silly! I thought it was obvious.

PS. Even though it looks incriminating with my big name all over the box, those maxi nappies are not mine, I swear!
