Bronzy is back!

My baby girl is home and she's looking great.

The stitches look painful and her belly is slightly swollen, but she's still purring loudly and is as lively as ever.

Bronzy, why don't you tell your friends what has been happening to you?

Okay, Mommy! I have a BIG story to share with my friends.

Hello, friends! Where are you?

Are you at the window?

Are you at the door?

Where ARE you???

Oh, there you are! What are you doing all the way down there?

Hey... are you rolling on the floor, laughing at me and my cone?

This wasn't my idea! But everyone said it would be good for me.

This cone is not comfy at all. It presses down on my ears and makes me hear funny.

And the sides keep knocking into everything. Like this bookshelf. I was stuck there for a long time because I couldn't walk forward.

Worse of all, my arm keeps slipping into the gap at the neck and then I feel really trapped! I have to wait till Mommy sees me walking funny and then she'll help me slip my arm out of the cone.

But it won't be long before my arm slips back in.

When I first came home, Slash was very confused. He said I sounded like his sister, looked a bit like his sister, but did not smell like his sister. So he growled and hissed at me A LOT!

Every time he smelt me, he would growl and hiss. It went on like this for half the day.

So Mommy kept us together in the bedroom, but separated us with pillows.

Then later in the evening, Slash decided that Mommy was right about me being his sister. So he put his head into my cone and groomed me because I smelt funny.

And guess what... I have a tattoo now! Can you see it in my ear? Can you? This tattoo tells people that I am special and loved.

Uh-oh... my arm has slipped into the cone again. And Mommy's not here. Oh, well... I'll just nap until Mommy comes to rescue me.

Only you could make a cone like that look fashionable, Bronzy. Have no worries - this too will pass. Hopefully, Slash will calm his fur down soon!

Bronzy, you're very brave to wear the cone. It's good that Slash decided to help you lose that v-e-t smell. We'll purr for quick healing, so you can lose the cone real soon,

Bronzy, I am so glad your big ordeal is over with! Now you get to have lots of extra loves and cuddles. I am sorry your cone is so irritating!

Bronzy, I remember almost 14 years ago when I had the same thing done, but they didn't have those cone things then. I do remember my mom laughing when the vet said, "don't let her jump up on things." Like she could really stop me.

Glad you are home and I hope you have a quick recuperation.

Oh sweet one, glad it is all over and you are back home. You are managing the cone just fine and will soon be back on your feet.

(pee ess. we owe you an apology cuz our mom told us you were having the mancat operation...but she was wrong...we just can't rely on what our mom tells us sometimes...)

Hope the cone will come off soon. Looks rather uncomfortable.

Oh my baby Bronzy!! You are too cute and I love you so much! I wish I was there to tickle your belly but I'm afraid of hurting your little sore belly. But soon! Soon I will be nuzzling my face into your softest belly and you will be begging me to stop! ;D

Love you!

Alamak, you are way too cute. Cuter than your Slashy brother. Don't tell him I said that, okay?
