Bronzy was supposed to come home today. But upon arriving at the clinic, the no-go was given.
Although she was responding well to the fluid drainage last week, her swelling increased significantly today. It could be due to the removal of the stitches which was performed in the morning. But, at the moment, no one can confirm anything.
Before my exam tomorrow, I will call the clinic to find out if Bronzy is showing any improvement. If she isn't, I think a second-opinion is in order.

Oh no! I know you are concerned. I hope you find out something soon and it's good news.
Special purrs for Bronzy.
Bless her little tummy! We are so sorry to hear the swelling continues and she cannot come home.
Maggie May developed a seroma on one of her knees after her last surgery. The vet drained it and it never returned. Guess she was very lucky.
We are sending Bronzy lots and lots of healing vibes. Hope she gets to come home soon with no more swelling!
Oh, poor Bronzy! I'm sorry she isn't able to come home yet. I sure hope the swelling gets under control soon.
Oh we're sorry Bronzy is still having problems! We hope you can get some answers....we're purring for her!
This sounds quite serious, and I know you are worried. Was this kitty pregnant or nursing before she was spayed? I saw the photos you posted earliest and it almost looks like mammary gland hyperplasia, but it's hard to tell from photos. I hope you can get her well again and back home soon. I think a second opionion is a good idea.
Here's a couple of links to info on MGH

hugs to bronzy. You've given her time at the vet, it is time to seek a second opinion if its not resolve.

We're sending purrs to little Bronzy to help her heal. Regarding the 2nd opinion, Mum says that there is a specialist Cat Clinic at Prahran, if you're anywhere near there...it's very hard to know - email us at gypsyandtasha at gmail dot com for the address if you want it. Our Mum could help you out with a ride at the weekend if you need it...
