You know that summer is well on its way when flies start to make an appearance.
One large buzzing fly found its way into my bedroom last night and boy, did drive Slash nuts! His head was bobbing up and down, his neck was snapping left and right, his eyes were bulging out of their sockets and he was crooning non-stop like an angry pigeon. He managed to maintain that level of frenzy for well over an hour. Talk about an obsession!
Bronzy, on the other hand, was a lot more cool about the whole fly affair and slept through most of Slash's meltdown.
I managed to capture some shots of Slash's look of obsession. The quality may be a bit grainy. That's because it was in the dead of the night with only my table lamp on. Plus my hands were a bit shaky from a too-much-caffeine-not-enough-sleep combo.
Happy viewing!

My, what B~I~G eyes you have!!! You look so adorable!
Come on Slash, you're going to give us Persians a bad name. We're supposed to be laid back!
Someone has to be the hunter and protector, huh, Slash???? Looks like you did a good job.
xxxxxxx
Not grainy at all just adorable.. Hugs GJ xx
Slash is gorgeous. What lovely big eyes! Yes, those flies are just super annoying. I did some zen therapy when I was younger and that got rid of my fly phobia.
We are comin' on winter here and the flys sit on the screen door hoping to get inside to extend their lives a little bit. The cats grab 'em as they make their entrance☺
We hope you get that fly, Slash!
You definately have your eyes on that fly. I would say that his days here are limited the way you are watching. Nice that you are heading into summer. We are heading into the cooler fall then the winter. Our flys here are coming inside to stay warm.
We have a fly that invaded from the cold outside. I have had fun chasing it around. It flies so slow!
