While the hungry giant sleeps...

Move the camera a little to the right, please

A little more... A little more...

Greedy Bombay always helps himself freely to Bangles' share of food, you see

So poor Bangles can only have his fill when the greedy one is unconscious

On a different note, I'll be leaving Singapore for Melbourne in just two weeks. I have a ton of things to prepare and arrange for and a million people to catch up with. There's also a driving test and vocal exam right around the corner. Plus I want to squeeze in home visits to check in on all my once-fostered-now-adopted-out cats.

This means that I'll probably be left with very little time and energy to blog at the end of the day. But I promise to do what I can. I'll keep on reading and commenting on your blogs even if I can't post any blog entries myself.

But once I get settled in Melbourne, I'll definitely be sharing with all of you my life as a struggling 30-year-old Vet student. So please wish me luck. Lots and lots and lots of it!

Hello mr 5 cat style. I hope you study hard to be a vet. I am frightened of vets. I hope you aren't a frightening vet. I stuck my claws in the vet's back.
I think poor Bangles need more chance at the food. What a naughty Bombay. Is Bangles very thin?

Very cute series of photos. :) Thanks for letting us know you probably won't be blogging much - that way we won't worry!

Good luck with your studies in Melbourne. :) I'm sure you'll make a great vet after you've done your studies. :) (My mom is a 35-year-old student, working on a Masters in physiotherapy, so she can sympathize with being an "older" student.)

Bangles, you are very sneaky and smart!!

Good luck on your new adventure, it is so exciting! And I would LOVE to read all about your experiences as a Vet student.

THIS is why it's best to be an only cat. For a moment, I thought you were going to show the PTUs (Prisoner Transport Units - cat carriers) prepared for a vet visit! We have three dishes so I can eat away from you-know-who.
Bombay, I wish I could reach thru and lick your sweet head. And purrhaps whap Bangles while I'm at it.

5-Cat, you'll do just fine. You already speak CATonese quite well! Hang in there!

Oh, you'll do just fine we're sure. We all share a dish of dry kibble and we do the same. While two naps one eats.

Ha ha - I like that last picture where Bangles is looking back to be sure Bombay's not waking up!

Lots of luck, definitely! And best wishes, too.

Go Bombay, I don't have another cat in the house and I gobble up all the food just in case. Poor Bangle. FAZ

p.s. my girl human wants a word ...

Have a fantastic time in Melbourne. I am an Australian living in London and I miss my home so much, although I am from the other end of the East Coast (Surfers Paradise it's called). Good luck and safe journey. Christine

Goodness, it's a wonder Bombay stayed asleep with all that crunching going on. Mom really likes the catster picture of Bombay, a real walking tiger. A few prayers going up with the lots and lots of luck five cat flyer.

Well, I am impressed, you're not just a cute kitty, you're a smart one too. I don't know what it's like in the rest of the world but Vet students in Australia are the 'cream of the crop', only the very best applicants can gain one of the coveted places. So...we know you've got the 'right stuff' for whatever lies ahead. I will cross my fingers and toes just the same, to be on the safe side. All our best wishes to you.
