Mental Monday

We know that Mondays are very long, tiring days at Uni for Mommy.

So we decided to cheer her up!

We greeted her with funny poses when she got home.



Mommy was so stunned, her expression totally cracked us up!

I blame Bronzy

I should be using my weekends to get some studying done. I know I should.

But every time I turn away from my desk, I see little Bronzy snoozing soundly and so sweetly. So I gave in to temptation and had myself a sleepy Sunday too.

Slash & Bronzy's 1st web award

The Creek Cats have very kindly honoured this humble blog with the "Honest Weblog" award.

So here are 5 things about my little boy, Slash:

1) For a 5-month-old boy, Slash sure has wide, voluptuous, child-bearing hips.

2) Slash often injures his eyes during play. Strangely, he doesn't blink when objects get too close.

3) Slash's mew sounds uncannily like a protesting "No!"

4) Slash has an extremely licky tongue. His favourite things to lick are himself, Bronzy's face, my fingers, nose, eyebrows and belly-button.

5) Slash knows exactly when he has done a naughty thing and will put on his cutest cupcake act to get out of trouble.

And here are 5 things about my baby girl, Bronzy:

1) She is an intensive kneader. Bronzy even kneads while she walks, looking as though she is riding the ocean's rolling waves.

2) Bronzy has a thing for bedroom caves structured out of a cleverly rolled quilt. She loves peeking out of it and I often find her purring herself to sleep in there.

3) Bronzy is a cuddler. She disapproves of sleeping alone and needs a warm body to hug as she catches her zees.

4) Bronzy adores chasing the orange-feathered Teaser. She is the undisputed champion at this game much to Slash's annoyance, of course.

5) Bronzy's deadly Helicopter Kick is often practiced on anyone and everyone. Here is a photo of her caught in mid-air kicking unsuspecting victim, Molly MacOuch.

Cheap travel

Mommy, we understand that with the economic recession we should save as many pennies as we can.

But do we really have to travel double-decker at home?

Bronzy: Mmm... this seat is quite soft and warm. I like!
Slash: I... can't... breathe...

Bronzy: I feel drowsy.
Slash: I feel nauseous.

Both: Are we there yet?!!!

Let me out!

Slash does this quirky thing whenever he wants out of a room.

First, he will lie down and stretch out in front of the door.

Then he will carefully tuck both arms into the gap.

And he will lie there and wait...

And wait...

Until a pitying soul opens the door and lets him out.

"Can you let me out already? I can't feel my paws."
