It Started with a Box

Slash: Bronzy, what have you got there?

Bronzy: A new box!

Slash: Did Mommy say we can play with it?

Bronzy: I don't know. I didn't ask.

Slash: Mommy, may we play with your box?

Bronzy: May we, PLEASE?

Bronzy: Oh, cool! Thanks, Mommy!

Bronzy: Now how shall I climb into this box? Should I tip-toe into it?

Bronzy: Should I just leap?

Slash: Oh Geez... this is going to take forever.

Slash: I'll get into the box first. Watch me!

Bronzy: Oooh... you're clever, Slash!

Slash: I hope this box fits my bottom.

Bronzy: Does it, Slash? Does the box fit your bottom?

Slash: Hey, what do you know? It does fit!

Bronzy: Let me check!

*Bronzy walks around checking the box carefully*

Slash: Muahaha! I am king and this is my throne!

Slash: I claim this box as mine!

Bronzy: May I play with the box now, Slash?

Slash: Wha?! But I'm not done yet.

Bronzy: I think it's my turn now.

Slash: Wait a while more.

Bronzy: But I want to play with it now.

Slash: Just wait a little more.

Bronzy: If you don't let me take my turn now, you leave me no choice.

Bronzy: I'll use my claw-strike on you! Haiyak!!!

*thwap-thwap-thwap*

Slash: I'm not afraid of you! You're a girl!

Bronzy: Then take THIS!

Mommy: HEY! No fighting.
Slash & Bronzy: Sorry, Mommy.

*0.5 seconds later*

*thwap-thwap-thwap*

Slash: Your efforts are futile, girly! I'll never leave this box.

Bronzy: Oh wait, Slash... you have something on your nose. Let me get that for you.

Slash: EEEEYOWCH!!!

Bronzy: Underestimate a girl now, will you?

*blows raspberries at a sore-nosed Slash*

Bronzy: Oh box, how I love thee.

Bronzy: I promise to never leave you.

*And a very happy Bronzy spent many happy hours loving her box*

Sleepy Sunday Faces Hide 4am Destruction

Don't let these sleepy...

Innocent-looking faces...

Fool you.

The reason why Slash and Bronzy are looking like this is
because they kicked up quite a ruckus at 4am again.

This time, during what must have been a most exciting wrestling match,
Slash knocked over the kitty bar (it being one giant and two smaller bowls of water).

When I investigated the noise of the fallen porcelain, I saw that
water had covered half the kitchen floor and seethed through a portion of the living room carpet.

As innocent as Slash tried to look,
I knew that he was the one who had kicked the bowl over
because his back, butt and tail were dripping.
Indisputable evidence!

So don't let these sleepy faces fool you.
Lots of naughtiness are brewing behind them.

Flashback Friday - Slash the Gentleman Cat

Mommy says that from the time I was a wee little kitten,
I had impeccable manners.

I always cleaned my mouth after meals.

And I always sat with my paws crossed.

Mommy still marvels at how princely my manners are.
I don't know who I learnt this from.
Maybe I'm just a natural-born gentleman cat.
